Fantastic family safari

"This is just a small note to thank your company and especially Solomon (driver) and Timothy (rep at Baobab Hotel), for making our holiday such a success. We would like to thank Timothy for helping us when our daughter was poorly and Solomon for taking us on such a fantastic safari. Solomon was friendly and put us at our ease. He was also very thoughtful, helping us when needed. He is very knowledgeable and we have enjoyed learning a lot about your country and it's wildlife.

When we booked our holiday the safari was part of the package and we had not realised before we set off how much was included, it was fantastic! The Shimba Hills and Taita Hills Salt Lick accommodation was wonderful, so exotic, very glamorous camping and our children really enjoyed the Salt Lick Lodge up on stilts. We loved the barefoot trekking to the waterfall and were astounded at how much wildlife we saw whilst out on the drives around the reserves, especially during the morning and lunch at Ngutuni lodge. We were enchanted by your country.

We will definitely recommend you to all our family and friends and we hope one day to be able to return to Kenya and go on another adventure with yourselves. Please send our best wishes to Solomon."

Amazing Guide

"Thank you for putting together our wonderful journey. Ranger Safaris were excellent. Our guide, Eddy, seemed to know just everything, he was with the company for 36 years. The Jeep was 2 years old.  I would highly recommend his services to anyone wishing to visit Tanzania. He was always prompt and cordial. The transition from place to place was flawless and all the accommodations were perfect. We saw so many animals both close and far.

Fisherman Tours took over once we got to Zanzibar. We always had the same driver and guide there. Again, flawless transportation and good accommodations. The beaches were beautiful and so was the pool.

Overall the trip was a huge success. Everybody had a great time. We met many nice people and saw spectacular sights. We highly recommend your services. Your detailed planning really made the difference."

" We were greeted by Naomi in the Serena Arusha hotel and we knew we were going to be in good hands. Naomi was very informative and put us at ease as to the travel arrangements and the knowledge and skill of our guides.

The next morning we met out guide Abu who was bubbly and very welcoming. Little did we know that Abu would transform our ordinary packaged safari into a once in a lifetime experience. Not only through game drives but also through humour, kindness and taking us through difficult terrain where other drivers would not go due to the wet conditions.

Abu was a delight. His knowledge of the animals, birds, trees and general park landscapes was exceptional, allowing us to learn more than we anticipated, particularly the birds, which we had not focused on prior to the safari.  Abu was always willing to stop at a moments notice if one of our party of 4 requested so and he was always on the look out for animals and birds for us to view and photograph.

We cannot put into words how happy we with Abu as our tour guide. He was more than a tour guide as we felt that we had a friend in the car. Truly exceptional!!!We will be recommending Ranger Safaris to all of our friends, family and colleagues from now on And superficially Abu. "

"We could not of had a better safari. It was fantastic! Felix was our safari driver  and he went above and beyond. He pushed every day so we could see as much as possible. Said Msuya was our Tour Director in Tanzania – he was FABULOUS!  He was professional, friendly and was very good at keeping us organized!  His knowledge of the area and the animals was amazing. We all really enjoyed having Said as our Tour Director.  We had so much fun with our Driver/Guides, too!  Lemans, Jordan and Daffa were all fantastic at spotting animals and at keeping us safe while driving!  They handle those bumpy roads like champs and have such positive attitudes.
